Someone had to build this for the people doing the work.
Built by Offshift is a digital company for service businesses. It exists because the people who understand the trade rarely understand the digital side, and the people who build digital rarely understand the trade.

01Who builds this
Built by someone who has worked both shifts
Dillon Janzen spent roughly ten years in the trades and is a Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician. He has worked in the field, and he has run a service business, which means he knows what it feels like to finish the work and then start on everything the business still needs.
He also builds the other side: websites, digital marketing, video, design, content and AI systems. Built by Offshift exists because most people understand one of those two worlds, and service businesses need someone who understands both.

02How we work
Four things this company will not compromise on.
Say what is included
Every price and inclusion on this site is written out. If something is not listed, it is not implied.
Fix the cause, not the symptom
A website that looks better does not help if calls are still being missed. The work starts with how work reaches you.
Less work for you, not more
Systems only count if they reduce the second shift. Another dashboard to maintain is not a solution.
No invented results
There are no fabricated testimonials, statistics or case studies here. When real results exist, they will be published as real results.
03Who this is for
Service businesses, wherever they are in the trade.
Trades, contracting, home services, field service, cleaning, repair, mobile service, mechanical work and the businesses around them. Owner-operators who are doing everything, and small crews where the second shift lands on one person.
Built by Offshift is not the right fit for everyone, and that is said plainly before anything is bought. The Operational Assessment is where that becomes clear for both sides.
Next step
Let's talk through what you need.
Tell me what you're trying to build, fix or take off your plate. We'll look at the business, clarify the scope and determine the right next step. If it makes sense, I'll use the conversation to prepare a proposal.
